I am a California native who has lived in New York City, Northwest Arkansas, and now call Seattle home. I have also lived in northern England, West Africa and spent long stints in Tokyo, Mexico City, and Munich.

I earned my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my MBA from Columbia Business School. In between my degrees I spent two years in Cameroon teaching English at a technical college. In addition, I worked with the Ministry of Education to launch an Aids awareness curriculum, renovated and restocked a defunct library, and even helped build animal enclosures at an primate rescue and rehabilitation center.

After graduate school, I worked internationally as a strategy consultant, focusing on retail and CPG as well as branding and marketing. While still based in New York City, I shifted gears to corporate strategy and ultimately landed in finance and financial services.

 

I was fortunate enough to find twin passions in retail and international business and built a career as a finance and strategy executive with global experience in both ecommerce and traditional brick and mortar retail. I held numerous executive roles in major multinationals and led teams in commercial finance, health & wellness, financial services, and cloud computing. In addition to finance, I have significant hands on experience in business development, marketing, and corporate strategy.

 

My career has given me the opportunity to work in multiple countries on six different continents with companies like Walmart, Amazon, AIG, and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Since leaving the corporate life I have focused on freelance consulting, working mainly with small to midsized companies, analyst teams, and private equity investors.

In addition to insight and hands on expertise in several business sectors, I have significant functional experience in change management, building teams in rapid growth environments, and resource reconciliation.

I am as comfortable speaking to boards and major investors as I am addressing teams of newly minted finance analysts. In addition to English, I am fluent in French, conversational in Spanish, and speak some Portuguese.
